Voice transmitting cards
All voice transmitting cards/devices can be divided into six groups:
1. ISDN2 (BRI)
2. ISDN30 (E1/PRI)
3. Analogue cards (FXO/FXS)
4. Analogue ATA devices - replace analogue cards (FXO/FXS)
5. Voice port network channels (FXS/FXO/BRI/PRI)
6. GSM cards and devices
Each of these groups cards have a lot of small nuances, and within the group they differ from each other not only with the connection port number, but also with echo cancellation modules, power options, etc. Thus, in order to obtain more detailed information, please contact OSS Networks professionals - we with a great pleasure look forward to helping you select the required card.

ANALOGUE CARDS (FXO/FXS)

Asterisk platforms voice transmitting cards manufacturers: Digium and Sangoma. Is available 1, 2, 4 and 8 port voice transmitting cards, as well as TDM cards with up to 24 ports. Are available PCI cards and PCIexpress cards, but PCIexpress cards are not used in all cases. OSS Networks uses Digium produced products, to ensure an analogue connection.
ANALOGUE ATA DEVICES (FXO/FXS)
Today there are very many ATA devices manufacturers. However, OSS Networks experience has shown that one of the highest quality ATA devices are manufactured by Linksys - the most often they are used to provide traditional analogue fax machines operations or, of course, if there is a need to connect one or more analogue telephones.
VOICE PORTS NETWORK (FXS/FXO/BRI/PRI)
Voice ports network channels are connected to the telephone exchange with USB 2.0 support, so PCI cards are not required, and the telephone exchange can be U1, not U4 or ATX-type server. Maximum port number for port channels are 32 ports, and they can be assembled with a variety of ports, for example, 8 BRI + 24 FXS ports or 4 PRI and 16 FXS ports. Thus, OSS Networks in a single solution can combine different variations of lines.
GSM CARDS AND DEVICES
There are different ways, how to connect telephone exchange incoming or outgoing GSM/mobile communications, for example, can use GSM PCI cards, which can be connected to 1, 2, 3 or more SIM cards. Another way is to connect the GSM gateway.
Such GSM devices can be connected to one or more GSM SIM cards. The other side interface can be analogue FXO line, ISDN BRI or ISDN PRI connections - in such cases will be required also appropriate port in the telephone exchange side, and such devices, which support VoIP SIP and H323 protocols, are available.
